2017 International DUBLIN Literary Award

Nuala's latest novel Miss Emily has been longlisted for the 2017 International DUBLIN Literary Award.

Nuala attended the launch of the Award, with Sara Baume and Louise O'Neill (also longlisted), at Pearse Street library, Dublin.

There are seven Irish Novels longlisted among the 147 titles that have been nominated by libraries worldwide for the 100,000 Award, the worlds most valuable annual literary prize for a single work of fiction published in English.

Shorelines Arts Festival

Nuala will be in conversation with author Paul Kingsnorth whose latest novel Beast is published by Faber.
The event is on at 3.30pm, on Sunday 18th September in Christ Church, Portumna
as part of the Shorelines Arts Festival.

Cashel Arts Festival - Culture Night

As part of the Cashel Arts Festival and Culture Night, Nuala will read from her novel Miss Emily on Friday 16th September at 7.30pm, in Cashel Library, Cashel.
Admission to the event is free but booking is advised.

Cork Short Story Festival

Nuala will take part in a panel on the author-editor relationship chaired by Patrick Cotter. Also on the panel will be Declan Meade, Danielle McLaughlin and Sara Majke.
The event is part of the Cork Short Story Festival and on at Sat. 10th September, 2.45pm, Firkin Crane Theatre, Cork.
